Dear friends and art lovers!
In my last post I asked, what else is possible? Evidently a whole lot! I feel I’ll leave the middle section of this story out because I really would like to share this with you.
Yes, I have a painting in Rome, THE MAGIC OF SOLSTICE. Then I had two artworks in Italy, the second being MOMENTS, an acrylic 20 x 16 inches painting. MOMENTS participated in exhibitions in Rome, ( my husband and I attended the opening last May) then Venice and finally Sicily.
The unexpected occurred in Sicily. The Carravigio County Museum acquired MOMENTS for their collection! I am blown away. There is an exhibition currently till November 25th. If I am not able to visit the presentation this month, a trip to San Giovanni la Punta is in the cards. Wouldn’t you say?
There have been many other wonderful art shows since early this year. I hope to fill you in soon. This event – is something.
