audain art museum

I love this art museum, a coup for the Whistler/Blackcomb area. Plus what a fantastic exhibition this is to view. I truly had no concept of the extent Jean Paul Riopelle’s work. My main interest lay in his Automatiste Period. How did I miss it, growing up in Montreal while it was the talk of the art world! I was, too young. C’est la vie. I could have fit in so well.

Plus this museum has a permanent collection of some of our favorite Canadian artists and sculptors. The Riopelle exhibition is in place till February 20, 2022.
